SMART Goal Planning for Socials

Creating a social media strategy, which can be overwhelming to small business folks, is an ideal time-saver for content creation in the future. ⬇️

My favorite simple, yet effective, process is the SMART goals method. ⭐

For those who are curious:

➡️ S = Get SPECIFIC on the particular goal you're looking to achieve, for example, more sales, increased website traffic, brand awareness, etc.

➡️ M = Making sure you can MEASURE the specific goal you've set for yourself, such as reach numbers, increased calls, form submissions, sale numbers, etc.

➡️ A = Set ATTAINABLE goals that can be achieved - don't aim for numbers or results that are unrealistic - you're only setting yourself up for failure.

➡️ R = Don't just set "whatever" goals - make sure they are RELEVANT to your business values and who you are.

➡️ T = Give yourself a realistic TIME frame and be clear with your deadline.

Want to do an example together? 🤩

A business wants to launch a new 1:1 Coaching Calls service. Let's walk through the SMART goals system on prepping for this social strategy:

📲 Specific = The campaign is to get small businesses searching for help with social media management to sign up for a new 1:1 Coaching Call service.

📲 Measurable = The campaign can track reach and link clicks on each post, as well as utilize the form that the 1:1 Coaching Call requests has by including the campaign as a choice.

📲 Attainable = The campaign aims to get 5 new client 1:1 Coaching Calls within the realistic time frame that's been established.

📲 Relevant = The business is built on the basis of support - the 1:1 Coaching Call showcases the business's amount of knowledge in this space, as well as the years of experience that highlights their values.

📲 Time = The campaign has 6 months to achieve the goal.

✨ Start here ✨ with the SMART goals system.

It's simple and gives you a base to apply to all your campaign ideas moving forward.
